At a recent get together with the Californian Governor and former action hero, Arnold Schwarzenegger and George Clooney discussed politics and acting while a bill was signed banning California investment in Sudan.

When asked about the "Clooney for President" T Shirts, the actor said the people wearing them were "probably kidding".

In true Clooney humor, the actor referred to the "Batman and Robin" movie that he co-starred with Arnold Schwarznegger by saying
"He's gone on to be governor, and I still think I'm Batman."

Clooney continued to deny any political ambitions for the future and said "Believe me, you don't want me in politics."

George Clooney is said to be a liberal Democrat and has been willing to spend his time promoting causes that he is passionate about. We recently wrote about his work with promoting the injustices of Darfur, Sudan.
